Peter Holliday is a Scottish artist-researcher working at the confluence of photography, environmental thought and field-based enquiry.
Integrating embodied experience with visual and eco-phenomenological analyses, his artistic practice combines image, text and archive material to explore contemporary issues on landscape perception, environmental ethics and the memory of place.
By treating the photograph as a mode of writing, Peter is interested in how the relationship between the seeing and saying of place can open up new ways of inhabiting and remembering the world we see.
